Annie Coxey

Annie Coxey studied Fine Art at the University of Gloucester. She is an art technician and teacher at Kendal College and combines this with an artistic production which has been exhibited principally in the North West of England.

Her work is a reaction to the countryside that surrounds her and her life experiences. In her pieces she incorporates collage and stitch and uses maps, dressmaking patterns and networks to create layers on the painted surface which she paints using acrylics, inks, charcoal and oil bars. The finished paintings are truly abstracted from the life around her.
